It's been a while..

So i have posted a blog in a while. I keep forgetting about it. It's the ADD. I'm pretty sure it's genetic. haha just kidding.

So this past week the youth group at church went on a mission trip to Dunseith, North Dakota. An 11 hour drive. Woo. My van was completely full. It was actually a lot of fun. We were cracking up. I went a little crazy with my friend tori's camera.

I also went a little crazy at one of the basketball tournaments we had for the kids on Dunseith. I got some awesome shots though. They're pretty sweet.

This little boy was Dakota. He WHOOPED me in basketball.

This kid looked so relaxed in this picture. It's incredible.

They were watching the Last In Line band practice. I couldn't resist.

This one looks like they're both jumping for the ball but Nick (the kid in the red) smacked the ball out of Marcus's hand.

The kid in the gray is Kenny. He had MAD basketball skills.

We had a lot of fun on this trip. Only one kid came to know god, but it was worth it. I almost didn't want to leave. Well that was our trip. We pretty much played basketball the whole trip. Now i can sink free throws like nobody's business :) haha.

Minnesota

We are back in Minnesota. And it's cold. Today it was like 75 with a breeze and for me that is cold. I'm used to 95 with a breeze and to me that is what feels good. The drive up here was long. Very, very long. On Tuesday we stopped in Kentucky and saw Aunt Deanna, Uncle Mike, and Jessie. I didn't really hang out with them because i got sick and went to bed early. Not like puke sick, but my head hurt, my throat hurt, my ear drums hurt, and i couldn't stop shaking. It was not really all that fun. So then the next day we pile back into the car and drive another 13 hours. We stopped at a few places on the way where i picked up a few things like a disney princess watch, a bracelet making kit, some cards and some gum for "Big Cole" and I to have a bubble blowing contest... that didn't last long because my mom got annoyed that we were chewng with our mouths open. It's hard not to when you have 2 pieces of Bubble Yum in your mouth and you can't breathe let alone chew with your mouth closed. It was tough.. We dropped Cole of around 11-ish and arrived at the Gee's house at 11:30-ish. Rough Guesstimates. I really don't like that word. I woke up at 7:30 this morning which is 8:30 in Myrtle Beach..so it kinda stunk..

The Countdown

Only 10 days until we move. It's bittersweet. I've made so many great friends down here. Everyone from church and school. And the beach...not people from the beach just the beach :]. I'm really gonna miss it and them.

Moving

So I like to say that I am a veteran mover, but there is one thing I will never be good at....PACKING. I hate packing! It is one of the worst things about moving. The other thing is the actual drive. 24 hours in a car with 2 boys under the age of 13. Yeah loads of fun. Let's just say headphones come in handy. Back to packing. It is horrible. I just want to throw everything into boxes.....but I just can't make myself do it. The only boxes that I just throw things in are my clothes boxes. They're the easiest. Everything else i try to fit in as much a possible, so then I don't have to pack more boxes later. I get the slacker in me from my dad. He's to blame. I wish slacker-ness was genetic. I would definitely use that excuse at school...All the time!

I kinda like this blog thing...sorry for talking about something as random as packing. Oh well... the Ron Ray in me is to lazy to go back and change it :]

The First Post...

I only have 15 days left until the "Big Move". I'm not gonna lie...it's a little depressing. I'm really gonna miss everyone down here. Here are a few of my peeps from South Kakalaki:
